You cannot really say anything poor about their books, the layout is standard and fantastic, some of the best fantasy artists in the business doing the art work, and lastly the updated lore following the spell plague though I am sure that the spell plague has nothing to do with Eberron since it is a completely different world from the realms.
Once again the only real downside to this book is the fourth edtion ruleset for me. Book is in Very Good Condition. Very useful book, thank you very much. I do really enjoy having great reference books. I have played role games since the beginning of the hobby.

I am not routinely inclined to buy pregenerated anything, but the Eberron Campaign Guide was a transition for me got tired of thinking I could always do it better. While fractionally more pricey than most 4th edition books because of the inclusion of the map in the back, it was a solid purchase as it has given me a solid bedrock to base my 4th edition gaming. If you would like to run a 4th edition game and save yourself the hassle of inventing your own game world, Eberron is the right choice.
It has been one of my better purchases for the 4th edition of Dungeons and Dragons. What more is there to say? It’s Eberron but with 4e rules.
List of Eberron modules and sourcebooks
Liking neither Forgotten Realms nor Dragonlance for the magic-heavy worlds, Eberron is even more so however it’s been crafted with more of an eye towards a true fantasy realm perhaps more like FR 4e now as well instead of a general sort of medieval recreationism with magic sprinkled about. Eberron seems to have been written with an eye towards explaining the hows of magic and the magical workings and also explores the use of magic as a technology and for that it succeeds rather well.
There’s plenty of built-in strife to the game as well with plenty of warring factions surrounding the more civilized kingdoms as well as other continents of much more nefarious things.
Aside from that, I found the background still managed to feel rather bland, and the menagerie of 4e wberron races feels a little out of hand in Eberron 4e. Personally, I would be holding out for Dark Sun but it’s going to have the same race escalation that the rest of the 4e series is.

Eberron Campaign Guide: A 4th Edition D&D Supplement
This book is for the DM of the group, if you want to play then pick up the Players book which is the companion to this one. But that’s just me. July 24, – Published on Amazon. At the moment I have only had about 1 solid hour of time to browse through this book. But it has definitely left eberon impression on me already. This book is filled to the brim with information to bring this Campaign world to life.
I have not owned the Original 3. The world seemed much more interconnected than the 4E Forgotten Realms guide.
With the various Huide, Dragonmarked Houses, nations, and other organizations all interacting with each other working towards their own agenda, Eberron seems a lively and interesting place where any type of adventurer can find something interesting to do.
If you are new to 4E, and are trying to decide which Campaign guide to get. Jump into Eberron, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
January 2, – Published on Amazon. After the terrible, terrible Forgotten Realm books put out last year, I was pretty darn hesitant to purchase another 4th edition setting. The other reviewers have done a great job describing the setting and who it might appeal to, so I just wanted to say a few words about the overall design of this product. I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons for over 15 years now, and never have I seen a setting book organized so well I could literally run a campaaign game after a few hours of flipping around the pages.
One need only to skim the first chapter plot, background, and flavorread all 10 pages of Chapter 2 the city of Sharn eberronn, and then skip straight to the adventure at cammpaign end and Eberrob If anything does come up, the book is so well laid out it should only take seconds to get the answer. This will give the DM plenty of time to finish the book while still keeping the players actively adventuring in Eberron.
When that adventure is finished, the DM now has the entire world at his disposal, with all its political intrigue, vast dungeons, incredible technology, and war-torn eerron.
